Nursery Infant-Kindergarten
In this class, children learn to recognize themselves as God's children and begin a special relationship with their faith family. Crafts, games and special activities are usually included within each lesson. The main objective is for children to grow in faith as they grow in years.
Primary Grades 1-2-3
Teacher: Vanessa Barrett and Heather Shroades
Designed to bridge student’s understanding with who God is and what he does for them, the Primary class helps children grow within their Christian faith. Memorization, signing, singing and storytelling figures provide active participation in hearing, telling and understanding Bible stories. In addition, children will learn the Lord’s Prayer. Crafts, games and special activities are usually included within each lesson.
Blessed Explorers Grades 4-5
Exploring Faith is the primary curriculum used, which is a four-year Bible study that enables children to experience God in Christian community. The stories and messages of the Bible appropriate to the children's increasing maturity are taught through lessons that provide opportunities for discussion. This class will help children develop a deep and life-giving relationship with God. Students will learn the 12 Disciples and Psalm 23. Crafts, games and special activities are usually included within each lesson.
Believers Grades 6-7-8 Teacher: Bryan Hott
The core material used is Live B.I.G. (Believing In God), which fits perfectly to this age group who is both energetic and highly interested in what is going on around them. Topics cover issues that are relevant to today’s preteens with an emphasis on how God has his hand in what is going on in their daily lives. Supplemental engaging videos and weekly songs are incorporated. Accordingly, students learn the books of the Bible and the Ten Commandments. Crafts, games and special activities are usually included within each lesson.
Teens Grades 9-10-11-12 Teacher: Bryan Hott
This diverse and lively class focuses on contemporary issues, Christian theology, morals, ethics and Biblical teachings. The class is structured around and thrives upon dynamic interaction with one another through discussions that are insightful, challenging, inspirational and open to all viewpoints.
College/Young Adults Ages 18-30
This class strives to spiritually grow as a group through fellowship, fun and thought-provoking study. Lessons feature interactive discussions about the Bible, religion, spirituality, relationships and the monumental task of tackling everyday issues with Biblical answers.
JOY Various Aged Adults
The goal of this class is to grow together as Christians, discovering and experiencing the presence of God through awareness of ourselves as unique individuals, affirmation of each other as community and support for the practice of our faith in the world. The main curriculum used is the David Cook series, which provides an in-depth study of Biblical teachings in both it's traditional and modern contexts.
